Meio Feel and DIMSAN release F800 - a track that started to be made in 2020 and is released in two versions: Drill and Grime.
“F800” is another partnership between Meio Feel, a producer from Paraná, and DIMSAN, MC from Rio de Janeiro. The two, who started collaborating in 2019, have been working on “F800” pretty much since they met.

“This instrumental came from the first sample I selected to make a Drill beat. I had already done some Grime stuff, but that's when I decided to get Drill”, confesses producer Meio Feel — who produced “Champloo” in the same batch of “F800”.

The track is "based on real events". DIMSAN decided to use two indispensable instruments for the "dreamy child" — the balaclava and the motorcycle — to tell the story of the villain created by the state: the young slum dweller who doesn't have the chance to dream about life.

“That's exactly what I say in the song, you know? The smallest full of dreams is always ready to wreak havoc. He has no pity, he has no fear, he is a weapon against the State, you know?”

“There are many young people there today who have no life expectancy, no work, no income, nothing”, says DIMSAN when talking about the inspiration to compose “F800”. He continues: “The State doesn't provide, you know? And the kids end up staying... some end up being at the mercy of crime in order to survive: get on the bike, put down the balaclava and go to his fight”.

It was the balaclava that gave rise to the idea of ​​also releasing the Grime version of “F800”. “When I heard DIMSAN rhyming, I immediately associated the balaclava of the lyrics with Grime, where the piece is also very common”, Meio Feel says. “As we had already worked on beat and lyrics in sets and other situations, I knew that it was also a rhyme that combined in Grime, for aesthetics and metrics”, concludes the producer.
